Italian Wines
The ancient lands of what is now Torrevento, have always represented fertility and prosperity. The land celebrates a rich history embracing a 17th Century Monastery as well as Castel del Monte. Castel del Monte was once inhabited by Frederick II and stands tall, proudly representing the Torrevento Estate. Since 1989, the Torrevento Winery has dominated the hills of the Alta Murgia highlands in Corato, Apuglia. Winemaking at the Torrevento Winery began in 1948 when brothers, Francesco and Domenico Liantonio harvested and produced local wines through antiquated methods. Today the winery has evolved and introduced sophisticated methods through which to cultivate and produce a plethora of refined wines.
