CABERNET SAUVIGNON

- COLOR: deep dark
red wine with violet tints.
- AROMA: Varietal
aroma reminding complex and generous
red fruits such as plum, cherry,
raspberry, and violet as the flower.
- PALATE:
Concentrated body, round and long,
warm wine, velvety and undergoing
major change, with sweet tannins.

calzone, cannelloni with
meat, poultry, vegetable
couscous, steak creole,
Greek cuisine, deviled eggs,

MERLOT
- COLOR: dark
red with ruby tints.
- AROMA: Complex and
elegant fruitiness, reminiscent of
spices, cherries, herbs and
raspberries. Intense and full.
- PALATE: Submitted
with carnal matters and elegant
velvety body with balanced tannins.
- ACCOMPANIMENT:
Because Merlot is medium-bodied, it
pairs easily with medium-weight foods:
Veal, meat loaf, Italian-style
sausages, lamb or beef stews, roast
lamb, duck with fruit sauce, fish like
salmon and tuna, and dishes with
mushrooms and berries are good
matches. Hearty pasta dishes and pizza
also pair well. For cheeses, try
Parmesan, Gouda, cheddar, Monterey
Jack or smoked provolone.

SYRAH
- COLOR: Deep red
with gleams of ruby.
- AROMA: Strong
presence of mature and red fruits,
raspberries and spices like cinnamon
and clove. Very expressive and
enjoyable.
- PALATE: Unctuous,
elongated, silky, mature, and
harmonious.
- ACCOMPANIMENT: Red
meats, spicy pizzas, herbed sauces on
red meat, turkey

TORRONTES -- Temporarily Unavailable
- COLOR: Pale yellow,
with touches of gold. Bright and Clean
- AROMA: Intense and
pleasant honey wine and roses, flower
and fruit
- PALATE: Of great
finesse and a silky palate, complex
with rich flavors
- ACCOMPANIMENT:
Torrontes can be
a tough match with food, but higher
acidity can offset a creamy, buttery
dish, and the perception of fruity
sweetness may override spicy foods.
Torrontes is thoroughly enjoyable
alone as an aperitif. Keep well
chilled.
